I just finished reading the principles of successful freelancing by Miles Burke. The book is ideal for those planning to enter the world of freelancing. It is easy to read – only took about 4 hours to read from cover to cover – all packed with useful information. The book covers everything: from the “decision if freelancing is for you ” in the money management, setting, establishment of hourly rates, winning customers, and more.  The book also includes interviews with well-known freelancers, such as Derek Featherstone, Mark Bolton, Molly Holzschlag and Stephen Collins. Some of the best advice in this book are based on knowing your strengths:       ”accountant or bookkeeper will bring your bills under control much faster than you ever could, and they are likely to save money. Let’s face it: we could be fantastic with the development of compliant XHTML, or designing a very comfortable and beautifully interface design, but we are not on this planet for accountants and lawyers. “
